Announcing Custom Apps

Being able to see a customer's profile and conversation history in Help Scout is great, but you know what would be better? Being able to pull in customer information from any third party source of your choosing.

Some examples:

  • Order history from your shopping cart
  • Private customer data from your internal CRM
  • Information about the customer's subscription/relationship with your business
  • Single-click access to the customer's account in another system

Today we're launching just that and it's called Custom Apps.

Developers can build a Custom App in less than hour, giving your team on-demand access to customer information. Look at how it helped our friend Yoast:

Custom Apps are available to all customers on a paying plan. You can learn more about how to create them by reading our developer documentation. We can't wait to see what you build!
